PROGRAM OFFERINGS

Pre-Arrival Workshop

Preparing for your PCS to Offutt? Join us for our Virtual Pre-Arrival Orientation to learn more about the base, base agencies, and community before arriving. Call or email to register and receive link to attend.

Newcomer Orientation

This briefing is mandatory for all military and civilian personnel in-processing to Offutt AFB. Held every other month, this orientation provides the required briefings per DAFI 36-3009 except for the finance brief. Spouses are highly encouraged to register & attend. Registration is required, please reach out to the Military & Family Readiness Center by phone at 402-294-4329 or email at 55FSS.FSH.MFRC@us.af.mil.

Plan My Move Brief

This required out-processing brief must be completed at least 30 days prior to departure date. The Plan My Move brief offers information and services aimed at reducing the personal and family challenge and stress often associated with a PCS.

E1 – E4 and O1 – O3 are required to attend the scheduled in person brief. A virtual offering is available for members E5 and O4 and above. To receive information on scheduling the brief please email M&FR at 55FSS.FSH.MFRC@us.af.mil

Sponsorship Program

Moving to a new installation during a PCS can feel like an adventure, and that’s where the military sponsorship program truly shines. More than just information, a sponsor provides a welcoming connection, offering firsthand experience and local insights you won’t find in any briefing. Meeting your sponsor in person may be an option upon your arrival to receive a tour of the local area and base. We always encourage you to meet in a public location for safety and comfort.

Please contact your current Commander’s Support Staff (CSS) or your gaining unit CSS at Offutt AFB. Following this please contact the Military and Family Readiness Center at either your current base or the Offutt AFB M&FRC can be contacted at
