About

The School Liaison (SL) provides K-12 information and referral services pertaining to public schools, private schools and homeschooling options. They are also a referral source for the Interstate Compact for Military Children in Nebraska.

The SL helps to connect parents, schools and the military by providing assistance in matters pertaining to K-12 schooling: school options, enrollment and resource referral; educating schools and districts on important issues affecting military children K-12; and keeping the installation, wing and unit commanders informed on all issues affecting the local educational community.

When to Connect with Us

Once you receive orders for a permanent change in station, the SL can point you in the right direction for school needs. This process should make your transition as stress free as possible. Referral to School Liaison at your next base, and tips on moving with children available.
