Youth Programs
Offutt’s Youth Programs offers sports, classes, social events, school-age programs, summer camps, specialty camps, peer counseling, and relocation/transi­tion support for children ages 5 – 18 years old. Parents must register their children and pay an annual $40 Mem­bership Fee. The year-round sports program includes soccer, baseball, flag-football, basketball. Classes are also offered in gymnastics & Tae Kwon Do. Youth Programs and the Youth Center (Bldg 5085) are located by the Army and Air Force Exchange Service Shoppette in Capehart Housing. Give Parents a Break, 294-2203

Give Parents a Break
Give Parents a Break provides an afternoon of free childcare for children ages 6 months to 10 years. The next date is May 6 from 12:30 - 5:30 p.m. at CDC 1. Parents must have a referral certificate. Reservations open April 20 and close May 3 at 12 p.m. This program is funded by the Air Force Aid Society and is open to Air Force Active Duty, Guard and Reserve families. Call 294-2203 for details.

Youth Cohesion Challenge, 294-5152

GoRuck Light Youth & Teen Cohesion Challenge
The GoRuck Light Youth & Teen Cohesion Challenge is a fun team-building event run by a Special Operations Cadre that will present participants with both physical and mental challenges! The challenge will be held at Youth Programs May 13 from 1 - 6 p.m. and is open to youth age 9 - 18. Cost is only $5 but there are limited spots available. Teen Aviation Camp, 294-5152

Teen Aviation Camp
Applications are now being accepted for Air Force Services Activity and Youth Programs' Teen Aviation Camp, being held June 24 - 30 at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado! Teens will tour the Academy, attend mechanical and aeronautical engineering classes, fly a Cessna and interact with Air Force cadets! Registration is open to children currently in their freshman or sophomore year who are the dependents of an Air Force active duty or active duty military assigned to/living on/working on an Air Force-led installation, Air Force retired, Air Force civilian employee, Air National Guard or Air Force Reserve. Applications are due by April 21. Call 294-5152 to learn more!

Space Camp Registration, 294-5152

Space Camp
Applications are now being accepted for Air Force Services Activity and Youth Programs' Space Camp, being held July 30 - Aug. 4 in Huntsville, Alabama! There are several learning tracks available, including: Space Academy (Age 12 - 14), Robotics Academy (Age 12 - 14), Aviation Challenge Mach II (Age 12 - 14), Aviation Challenge (Pilot Track) (Age 15 - 18) and SCUBA Diving (Mission Specialist Track) (Ages 15 - 18). Registration is open to children age 12 - 18 who are the dependents of an Air Force active duty or active duty military assigned to/living on/working on an Air Force-led installation, Air Force retired, Air Force civilian employee, Air National Guard or Air Force Reserve. Child Supervision Class, 294-9016

Child Supervision Class
A free child supervision class is being held at Youth Programs May 17 at 6:30 p.m. Children will learn what to do in emergency situations and useful tips to keep them safe. A parent must accompany their child at the class. Call 294-9016 to register.
