The Wood Hobby Center offers a wide variety of power and hand tools for woodworking projects.  Power equipment includes planers, table saws, radial arm saws, lathes, shapers, drill presses, and miter saws.  Patrons must be checked out by a staff member before using the equipment.  Once checked out, patrons are issued AF Form 1451, certifying that they are qualified to operate designated equipment.  The sales store offers a wide variety of hardwood, including oak, maple, and walnut. Screws, nails, and sandpaper are free.  Services offered include custom woodworking, furniture repair services, shadow boxes, flag boxes, plaques, and instructional classes.
