Scrapbooking Classes
The Community Center will be offering free scrapbooking classes on August 4 & 11, 6 - 7:30 p.m. Topics covered will include organizing digital and traditional photos, digital scrapbooking, traditional scrapbooking, and quick kits for fast scrapbooking. To register, contact the Community Center.

Tops in Blue - view flyer
Tops in Blue is coming to entertain, Friday, August 6, 7 p.m., at Music Hall at Omaha’s Civic Auditorium. Tops in Blue is an all-active duty US Air Force special unit made up of talented amateur performers selected for their entertainment abilities. Come out and enjoy an evening for the Air Force’s finest music! This event is free and open to all.

Children’s Computer Classes - view flyer
Kid-e-Clickers, LLC, computer classes for children ages 3 – 7, are available at the Community Center. Weekly classes are held Mondays,  9 – 9:45 a.m., and Tuesdays, 4 – 4:45 p.m. Cost: $40 / month.

Voice Lessons
Wish you could be the next Offutt Idol? Sign up for voice lessons at the Community Center! Voice lessons are available on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Cost: $15 / 30-minute session; $30 / 60-minute session.

Krav Maga Classes - view flyer
Krav Maga, the official self-defense and fighting system of the Israeli Defense Forces and various police departments throughout the U.S., is now being taught at the Community Center! This highly-effective, easy-to-learn system of self defense is offered for men and women of all ages and all skill levels. Classes will be exciting, challenging, and motivating, and run Tuesday evenings, 6:15 - 7:15 p.m. Adults only. Cost: $40 / month.

Zumba Dance Classes
America's new hottest dance craze is now at the Community Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6 p.m. with Brandi or 7 p.m. with Tonya!  Zumba combines maringa, salsa, and hiphop for a high-energy, fun workout! Classes are $5/class or $30 for a month punch card that's good for 8 classes!

Moms, Pops, ‘N’ Tots Playgroup
MPT meets every Monday and Wednesday from 9:30 - 11 a.m. for open playtime in the interactive Playzone, art and craft activities, and story time with snack. Field trips and holiday parties are planned throughout the year. The admission for MPT is only $1 per family per visit. This is the perfect opportunity to meet other spouses and provide social interaction for your child.

Expanded Music Lessons!
The Community Center is offering more music lessons! Additional piano instruction will be held Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, & Saturday. Guitar instruction will be Wednesday and Thursdays at 4:30 p.m. Cost: $50 / month, four weekly one-on-one 30-minute sessions.

Need Some Space?
Looking for a place to host a party, ceremony, or reception? The Community Center offers wonderful room amenities at affordable rates! Rent a large ballroom (for 220+ people) for only $125 for 5 hours. The Playzone is the perfect place to entertain young children for a birthday party, only $35 for 3½ hours. The SAMS recreation room is the perfect size for the functions with 60 or fewer people, with a fun atmosphere and adjoining Game Room!
