Car Buying Strategies
Are you planning to buy a car soon?  What can you afford and what style car is best for you?  For answers to these questions and more, attend our Car Buying Strategies class from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. on March 10. This is a Snow Daze event - be sure to get your token!

Transition Assistance Program
This program assists separating or retiring military members transitioning into civilian life.  The 3 1/2-day program runs from 1-4:30 p.m. on March 15 and 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on March 16-18; and 1-4:30 p.m. on March 29 and 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on March 30, 31, and April 1. 

Sponsor Training
Take the first step toward becoming a good sponsor by attending this class from 10:30-11:30 a.m. on March 19, at the Offutt Welcome Center. 

Home Buying Workshop
Are you considering buying a home? Do you understand the advantages and disadvantages? Can you afford it? Where do you start with credit and financing, and what does it take to get a home loan? For these answers and more, attend this workshop from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. on March 19.

Smooth Move Program
If you are going PCS, plan to attend this helpful program from 1-3:30 p.m. on March 23.

Looking for a job? Come to the Lied Activity Center on April 8, 10 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. and you just might find one! Resume critiquing will be provided as well. Open to all active duty, DoD civilians, veterans, retirees,  Guard, Reserve, and family members. Volunteer Appreciation Reception - view flyer
Calling all Volunteers!!  The 55th Wing and the Offutt Advisory Council would like to say thanks to  all volunteers.  Volunteers make the world go around and make the impossible possible. All Offutt personnel including active duty, family members, retirees, and DoD civilians who volunteer their time on base and in the local community are invited to attend a reception in their honor.  Those who supervise volunteers are also invited to attend and show their support.  The reception will be from 9:30-11 a.m. on April 28, at the Offutt Patriot Club.

Come out and discover firsthand what happens when mom and dad deploy!  Children, ages 8-12 years, will process through a deployment line, tour a military aircraft, simulate a deployment, and receive a mission brief at the Offutt Field House, May 7, 8:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.  Each child will also receive a t-shirt, dog tags, a photo ID badge, and more!

Join the Airman & Family Readiness Center for a support group about, for, and hosted by women. The group meets every Thursday from 6 – 7:30 p.m. to discuss relationships, family, communication, deployment, separation, careers, and more.

Military & Family Life Consultants
Military & Family Life Consultants are here to listen. MFLCs are available to help AF service members, spouses, children, and DoD civilians address issues related to deployment, reintegration, relationships, marriage, divorce, parenting, communication, family, stress, anxiety, depression, grief, and daily life. Consultations are free and confidential. No records are kept. Call 402-650-6427 to schedule an appointment.
